I deny any involvement in that photo.

It is pretty hilarious, though, so I guess it can stay.

WHAT ARE YOU WEARING TOMORROW?

Umm. I'm torn between the IW skirt outfit or Cinderella skirt outfit. I thought there was something else I was going to wear, but I can't remember for the life of me!

orly? That's the dress that you bought it to wear with right? I'm so happy you wear the dress often!

Fine then, we'll do a fancy black dress party another time and I'll wear the AB dress for the umpteenth time (this gives me an excuse to wear it again, you see)

Haha, thank you!! That's me actually! Are you a fan of lolita fashion at all?

Some of it. I'd do what the lolita girls hate, though: mix it in with my own stuff! I think fashion should be about having your own style, so I couldn't deal with all the rules. But more power to you, if you're into that. Some of the clothes are really pretty!

Ahah.. I agree. I used to be a complete brandwhore purist lolita, and I would ONLY ever wear brand with brand, and I wouldn't DARE mix brands..

I took a chill pill, quit the fashion for almost a year and realized that I hated all of my coordinates and was sick of all of my sweet stuff, and now I can't seem to incorporate enough non-brand into my outfits these days, I find that you have a lot more freedom if you do it that way. I'm so sick of hearing girls go on and on about how you have to follow rules to become a perfect lolita, and like you said there's not a whole lot of individuality to it. I normally won't wear blouses with sleevless dresses, and it's really rare to find me in a petticoat, which is breaking two very solid rules in the fashion.

I also realized that you have to have fun in what you wear, and so I used to just stand around in lolita, but last summer I actually ended up doing an obstacle course in it, and I'm always climbing on things and breaking shoes. I don't take it very seriously.

This picture is from Christmas, when my friend on the right in the pink dress came to visit us. She's a strictly classic/punk/gothic lolita and we really were just making fun of all of this over the top princessy shit that I have in my closet.

Well, I figured not, because I get the impression the super serious girls won't even talk to people who aren't lolita! It seems bizarre to me that there are all those rules, but I guess East & West are just very different!

Wow, I just completely butchered that grammatically.
